We stand by our customers with expert advice on how to maximize the efficiency of their die cutting operations.

CAD Programming Services

Our CAD department offers CAD programming services to our customers. We begin with your file or create from scratch. Services include basic die design, plus changes necessary to complete die designs for all diecutting requirements.

Counter plates

DieCraft produces phenolic material counter plates for flat steel rule dies that provide proper channels on creasing for high-quality jobs.

Male and female stripping units

Stripping jigs for steel rule die applications are laser-cut and assembled to ensure close tolerances between stripping jig and die, plus they have greater resistance to wear and tear. Our male and female stripping units provide economical solutions to costly hardware necessary for today's high-speed equipment.

Mylars, or Dielines

Mylars - also called dielines - are films, or scale drawings (1:1) on a transparent vinyl sheet, showing the precise location of cutting rules and serve to mount printing plates accurately to register with the cutting die. Our dielines can be supplied with a reduction factor depending upon your particular application.

Samples

We are fully equipped to produce samples for customer review before ordering tooling. We also can produce work-in-progress samples to make sure that the finished product will perform to specifications before ordering your tooling.

Repair, Alteration and Sharpening Services

Cutting dies eventually get dull resulting in poor quality diecutting and more wear on the cutting machine diecutting. DieCraft will professionally resharpen your die or rerule your steel rule die. It is often more economical to laser burn a new die board and insert a new set of steel rule blades to your original specifications vs. re-knifing and re-rubbering an old steel rule die. We will make the most economical choice for you.

We can provide duplicate sets of blades from your original CAD files for your dies. We also recommend that diecutters establish some method of die storage to protect cutting edges between diecutting jobs. The DieCraft team can recommend effective die storage systems and methods.

Rotary Magnetic Cylinders

We offer the most advanced line of rotary magnetic cylinders for your rotary diecutting operations.

Spot Sheets

Spot or make-ready sheets are scale copies of the requested cutting die, used to minimize weak pressure points on a press.

ON-DEMAND Diecutting and Embossing Assistance

Our staff can provide ON-DEMAND diecutting assistance for your diecutting operations and make suggestions on how to improve the profitability of your diecutting or embossing operations. Complete and submit the Diecutting Application Information Request Form to give us a better understanding of your particular diecutting applications. We provide telephone, email, or fax support to diagnose your diecutting situation and provide cost effective solutions. On special request, we will come to your operations and provide ON-SITE Diecutting Assistance.
